New Family Home - Dalveen QLD

One of the unique things about building portable homes is the relationships that develop along the way. Between the planning, design, approvals and construction process, we often spend four months or more working closely with our customers, getting to know not just the home they want to build, but the life they're building around it.

That was certainly the case with Caitlin and her family.

After selling their home on the Gold Coast, Caitlin and her husband made the decision to embrace a quieter country lifestyle and create a new home for themselves and their young son. Over the months we spent planning and building their home, we got to know them well and became invested in their journey.

Once their home was delivered and they had settled in, Chris and I packed up our two young daughters and made the 2 hour trip south to visit them. While the kids played together, we spent time catching up, seeing how they had settled into their new lifestyle and getting genuine, real-world feedback about their experience living in their Paradise home.

There is no better feedback than hearing directly from customers several months after they've moved in. Seeing their home being enjoyed exactly as intended, watching their son thrive in his new surroundings and hearing how happy they were with both the home and the lifestyle change was incredibly rewarding.

For us, creating homes has always been about more than construction. It's about helping families create the life they want and remaining part of that journey long after the home has been delivered.

Caitlin and her family will always hold a special place in the Paradise Portable Homes story, and we are incredibly grateful for the trust they placed in us.

richard

New Home - Jinghi QLD

When Richard first visited Paradise Portable Homes in June 2023, retirement was still a few years away and he wasn't quite ready to buy. What he did know was that when the time came, he wanted a high-quality home designed specifically around his lifestyle.

Over the following years, Richard became a familiar face at our headquarters, regularly dropping in to inspect new builds, explore design ideas and discuss his plans for retirement. Rather than rushing into a decision, he took the time to carefully consider every aspect of his future home, refining the layout and features until it perfectly suited his vision.

As retirement drew closer and the timing was finally right, Richard moved forward with a customised one-bedroom home designed to be the perfect bachelor pad for the next chapter of his life.

Richard's journey is a great example of how purchasing a portable home is often about much more than a building. It's about planning for the future, making informed decisions and creating a home that genuinely reflects the way you want to live.

We were honoured to be part of that journey and look forward to seeing Richard enjoy his new home for many years to come.

Retirement Home - Prenzlau QLD

For Neil and Joan, the goal was clear: create a comfortable, independent and energy-efficient retirement home close to the community they have called home for many years.

As long-time Prenzlau locals, they knew exactly where they wanted to spend their retirement. Their vision was an off-grid home that would provide comfort, security and self-sufficiency for the years ahead.

One unique aspect of their project was the home's proximity to the Warrego Highway. Because of this, additional acoustic requirements needed to be considered during the design and approval process. Working closely with the relevant consultants and certifiers, we incorporated the necessary acoustic upgrades into the design and successfully navigated the approval process to ensure the home met all required standards.

Throughout the journey, Neil and Joan were an absolute pleasure to work with. Their excitement for this next chapter was infectious, and it was incredibly rewarding to help bring their vision to life.

Today, their beautiful off-grid retirement home is ready, and they are absolutely ecstatic with the result. Seeing their dream become a reality is exactly why we do what we do.

We are honoured that Neil and Joan chose Paradise Portable Homes to be part of their retirement journey and wish them every happiness as they prepare to move into their new home and begin this exciting new chapter.

Margaret & garry traves

Granny Flat - Dalby, QLD

Back in 2024, Garry and Margaret chose our popular two-bedroom Luna model to place in their son's backyard in Dalby, allowing them to be closer to their children and grandchildren while maintaining their own independence.

From their very first visit to our headquarters to delivery onsite, the entire process took less than three months. Their Luna home was custom-manufaactured in our Queensland facility before being transported and installed at its new location in Dalby.

Today, Garry and Margaret enjoy the perfect balance of family connection and private living, all within a beautifully finished home designed for comfortable everyday living.

"We are extremely happy with our new Luna home. It's very well constructed, beautifully finished and designed.

The owners are always ready to assist. Cannot recommend this business highly enough."

Many thanks,
Garry & Margaret
